Terms of Service

Last updated 1 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Cybershark Consulting website and the free tools published on it. Paid engagements are governed by a separate signed agreement, which prevails over anything here.

01 — Use of the site

What you may do

You may read, share, and cite the content here for lawful purposes. The Tantalus arena is provided for security research and education; do not use it, or any technique it demonstrates, against systems you are not authorised to test.

02 — Research & figures

Informational, not a guarantee

Published metrics — including the ~6.1M-inference-call study results — are qualified to the specific test harness described in the whitepaper. They characterise behaviour under those conditions and are not a warranty of outcomes in your environment. Nothing here is legal, compliance, or security advice for your particular situation.

03 — Intellectual property

Ownership

The site, its copy, and the Cybershark name and mark are owned by Cybershark Consulting. The whitepaper is released under the license stated on its OSF record; refer to that record for reuse rights.

04 — Liability

As-is

The site and free tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Cybershark is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
